CRT Certification FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions...

Q: How long does the course take?

A: The course is a 500 study hour program, requiring a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years to complete. Each lesson requires approximately 40 hours of study over the course of 6-8 weeks per lesson. Approximately 1/2 of this time is spent in experiential practice of the meditations and exercises included with the course materials, and working directly with the stones provided with the course. The other 1/2 is reading and completing the written assignments.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Course tuition is $2500 US and includes all materials (see below), access to the student area online, monthly telephone conferences with a qualified Instructor, and attendance at the 4 day student seminar (not including travel & lodging).

Q: Is there a payment plan available?

A: Yes. If you are unable to pay the entire amount up front, you can contract for a payment plan that will assist in spreading the payments over time. Certification is dependent upon full payment of your tuition. We require a $1000 down payment for all payment plans, and we offer several options for paying the balance. These options will be available to you during the Course Registration process. You can also charge your course to a credit card, which will allow you to pay over time without holding up your certification process.

Q: Do you offer Scholarships for the course?

A: No. Crystalis Institute does not offer scholarships for the Crystal Resonance Therapy Course.

Q: What do I get with the course?

A: A better question might be, "what don't I get with the course?"!

Your course materials include:

  • 25 hand-picked crystals and stones to form the foundation of your healing toolbox. Stone varieties vary by availability and are chosen for you by Naisha. Four stones in each elemental category, plus five elemental guardian clear quartz crystals are provided.
  • The course manual consists of over 350 pages of original written material, including information and exercises.
  • 17 audio CDs, containing 36 separate meditations and lectures!
  • Other study texts including: The Anatomy Coloring Book, Simon & Schuster's Guide to Rocks & Minerals, and meridian charts.
  • 4 days of personal, hands-on instruction with Naisha at the culminating seminar (a $500 value!)
Your course support services include:
  • Access to the secure online student area with your own private folder, a "student cafe" area to connect with other students, announcements to keep you up to date about developments and seminar dates, a support documents folder and the newest lesson versions available. visual of student website bulletin board
  • Regular lesson conferences with your personal Instructor. One of the core supports of the CRT Course is the phone/skype conferences with one of our highly qualified Instructors. Each lesson, your instructor meets with you to review your work and discuss any questions or concerns you have. The conferences are a wonderful way to gain insight and coaching, as well as a great motivational tool!
  • Student E-newsletters are sent periodically to inform students on news and offer motivational support.

Q: Is the course professionally recognized?

A: Yes. U.S. Students and graduates of the CRT™ certification training course are eligible for membership in the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), an independent professional association offering insurance and other benefits to trained bodyworkers. This mainstream organization is an excellent resource for information on U.S. laws and requirements, peer support and professional recognition.

Currently, we are also working on gaining access to professional associations for members in Oceana and the UK.

Q: I have studied crystal healing. Can I test out of any part of the course?

A: Crystal Resonance Therapy™ is a unique system that is not based on the practice of laying-on-of-stones as it is commonly taught. It is an integrated system that requires completion of the entire course for full integration of the information. Because the information is experiential in nature— with each new lesson building upon the prior lesson— you cannot “test out” of any part of the course.

Q: Does certification qualify me to teach CRT to others?
A: Certification as a Crystal Resonance Therapist does not confer the right to teach CRT™ to others.

Certification in CRT™ can only be conferred by Crystalis Institute. However, you can offer informational workshops or talks on the subject once you are certified as a practitioner, as long as these presentations are not promoted as training in Crystal Resonance Therapy™. These presentations should be for informational purposes only, in order to promote an understanding of CRT™ and your work as a Crystal Resonance Therapist.

There is also a second level of the CRT™ Course. This apprenticeship model instructor training will prepare practicing students to become licensed instructors for the Institute; able to enroll and teach students while still enjoying all of the benefits and services the Institute provides. Eligibility for licensing will be reviewed on a yearly basis, based on student feedback and performance. All apprentice instructors must also maintain a private practice in CRT™.

Q: How is CRT different from other types of Crystal Healing?
A: Crystal Resonance Therapy differs from other crystal healing modalities in several ways.

• The CRT™ course teaches you how to connect with energy and interpret resonant fields in order to choose the most appropriate stone to use for any given client. This allows you to apply the specific vibration that is called for at any given time— in direct response to the movement of energy and the vibration of resonant fields. “Traditional” crystal healing relies heavily on color and stone definitions to determine which stones to use in treatment. This can be helpful, but is a less responsive system than the CRT™ method. The CRT™ method is NOT a “what stone goes where” system. It is, instead, a system of training that allows the healer and client to directly respond to energetic patterns as they emerge by utilizing the most appropriate vibration available.

• Crystal Resonance Therapists are trained to act as facilitators of the client’s conscious healing process. This means engaging the client on all levels throughout the process and responding to the client’s own healing journey. This allows for deeper healing of systemic vibrational patterns, and a more complete and powerful healing experience. By approaching the work in this way, the practitioner does not take on the role of “healer”— which disempowers the client— but instead becomes a “toolbox” of knowledge and skills that the client can access in order to assume their own healing power more fully.

• Clients are discouraged from “skying out” or disassociating from their bodies during the healing exploration process. CRT™ practitioners are encouraged to keep the client engaged in the process at all times to ensure that deep work is done. Grounding and follow up are key components to a CRT™ session. This provides a supportive energetic base from which expansion and healing can take place. More common forms of crystal healing encourage the client to simply relax and allow the stones to do the work. While this can provide a brief respite or a fun head trip, it very rarely creates transformational healing.

• Crystal Resonance Therapy™ sessions may or may not utilize crystals. In addition to crystals and stones, Therapists are trained to utilize the energy of the natural elemental forces and other sources of vibration to faciliate the client’s experience. Therapists are also encouraged to access and amplify stone energies through the Earth’s energetic field. You can, in fact, do a complete Crystal Resonance Therapy™ session without having any stones present. Most therapists do utilize crystals and stones in their practices, however, and the utilization of stones as healing tools is a focal point of the training.

• The CRT™ course emphasizes the need to apply the techniques to one’s own life first— before you utilize them with others. This allows the therapist to gain personal experience with the powerful techniques and exercises that are the heart of the CRT™ method. The first five lessons of the course focus on clearing the student’s “human crystal” or personal energy patterns. This allows the CRT™ practitioner to be more objective, focused, and less apt to confuse personal energetic patterns with their client’s energetic patterns. This intensive personal growth is at the heart of the CRT™ training, and is the core reason why CRT™ cannot be taught in a workshop format.

Q: I live outside the U.S. Can I still do the course?

A: Yes. Currently we have students in countries all around the globe. In order to take the course as an international student, you must have internet access and prepare your homework in a word document so that it can be posted into your online student folder.

Q: My (partner, family member, friend, associate) and I want to take the course together at the same time. Can we receive a discount?

A: Yes. A study partner discount of 10% is offered for individuals who wish to join the course together and who pay the full course tuition at the time of enrollment. Discounts cannot be offered if a payment plan is chosen. When you join with a study partner, both of you will receive the full course materials.

Q: Is group training available?

A: Yes. Groups that enroll in training at the same time receive a discount. This is a great way for schools and healing centers to train their staff in this powerful and professional modality!

3-5 members: 15% discount
6 or more members: 20% discount
